Connecter – Open air cinema, Kragujevac [BAB 2019]

Abstract

Projekat montažnog bioskopa na otvorenom je nastao kao rezultat istraživanja fokusiranog na razumevanju kompleksnosti i suprotnosti u fragmentaciji nekadašnjeg monumentalnog centralnog trga u Кragujevcu – Prodora. Prodor se posmatra kao urbana situacija čije je arhitektonsko i simboličko značenje neophodno za razumevanje šireg konteksta. Formiranje lake montažne strukture zida između parkinga i preostale zelene površine, sa sobom nosi ideju fragmentacije i okupiranja, kao načina za odbranu vrednosti kolektivnog. Zamišljeno je da se dve strane zida koriste programski različito u toku dana i noći, kao bioskop na otvorenom i vertikalna bašta sa piknik zonom.

The project of a montage open-air cinema was created as a result of research focused on understanding the complexity and contradictions in the fragmentation of the former monumental central square in Kragujevac - Prodor. This location represents an urban situation whose architectural and symbolic meaning is necessary for understanding the wider context. The formation of an easy prefabricated wall structure between the parking lot and the green area brings with it the idea of fragmentation and occupation, as a way to defend the value of the collective. It is envisaged that the two sides of the wall will be used programmatically differently during the day and night, as an outdoor cinema and a vertical garden with a picnic area.
