AB  - The project experiment shows the use of a constraint-based approach and bionic patterns in the process of design a membrane structure. The constraints imposed by the task - the design of the structure for covering the generic pedestrian street, as well as various potential space constraints - the dimensions of the intervention area, the openings, the discontinuity of the surface for fixing the structure, the obstacles in the form of a mobilier, etc., were considered. Starting from the hypothesis that rational solutions are provided by taking forms, systems, relations, and patterns from nature, the structure is based on the concepts of biomimicry and sustainable geometry. Voronoi as a natural mathematical structure, with a pattern based on minimum distances between the generator points, was chosen because of the specific aesthetics, the dynamics it brings into space, unobtrusive, and above all because it enables simple and logical overcoming of all the above constraints. The process of generating the form began by determining the position of the potential supports and openings, and then by applying analog and digital modeling form-finding methods, an appropriate design emerged. Basically, the solution is a flexible, pre-stressed Voronoi element that is connected to adjacent elements or fixed to wall anchors. Repetition of the different Voronoi cells and their interconnection ensures a geometric form that has construction regularity (the centers of the holes in the membrane are cross sections of the triangle symmetry, the symmetry of the sides of the vortex cells), but also has the character of a random array. Bearing in mind that the structure, in fact, occurs when the two Voronoi-nets connect to the cylindric surfaces, the result is a transparent, light, cellular network that implemented in the open space, thanks to the level of spatial layering, affects the degree of obscurity and brightness of the space in a specific shadow game.

Urban regeneration : Smederevo riverfront through the application of information communication technologies

AB  - Smederevo has great potential for development - cultural, historical, industrial and natural heritage. In this sense, as a generator for the maximal utilization of all potentials, information and communication technologies (ICT) have been applied in certain places - "points" in the urban structure of the city. On the points. ICT equipment can be used to view the elements of virtual and augmented reality - wildlife and history of the Danube, the Smederevo Fortress in the Middle Ages. Smederevo in the future with new elements of infrastructure and robotics (cyberpunk). etc. The application of ICT has also been achieved in urban design - elevated footpaths for a new view of the city and fortress with digital equipment redevelopment of railway wagons and new materialization of thermochromic pigment paving stones and furniture that changes color under the
influence of many WIFl users or their moods. At the end, ICT tools are a base for the comprehensive urban regeneration of the central part of Smederevo Riverfront.
