AB  - U radu je prikazano rešenje drvene konstrukcije centralnog dela krova crkve, u gradu Nikšiću u Crnoj Gori.
Centralni deo krova je oblika pravilne piramide nad osmougaonom osnovom. Osnovni konstruktivni sistem čini osam
zakrivljenih nosača od drveta, koji se oslanjanju u uglovima osmougaonika i vezuju u jednoj tački na vrhu krova. Iznad
ovih nosača, u njihovoj ravni su dodati drveni kosi štapovi, kako bi se formirao piramidalni oblik krova. S obzirom na
zakrivljenu formu nosača osnovnog konstruktivnog sistema, projektom konstrukcije je predviđeno lepljeno lamelirano
drvo za osnovne elemente konstrukcije krova. Rešenje obuhvata prikaz svih elemenata konstrukcije krova, po hijerarhiji
prenošenja opterećenja, kao i rešenje metalnog okova za međusobnu vezu drvenih elemenata.
AB  - The paper presents the solution of the timber roof structure of the central nave in the town of Nikšić in Montenegro. The central part of the roof is shaped like a regular pyramid over an octagonal base. The basic structural system consists of eight curved timber girders, which are supported in the corners of the octagon and are connected at one point at the top of the roof. Above these girders, in their plane, the secondary supporting structure was added, in order to form the pyramidal shape of the roof. Considering the curved shape of the girders of the basic structural system, the design of the structure foresees glued laminated timber for the basic elements of the roof structure. The solution includes a presentation of all elements of the roof construction, according to the hierarchy of load transfer, as well as a solution of steel connectors for the mutual connection of timber elements.

Drvena konstrukcija krova crkve u Švedskoj

AB  - U radu je prikazano rešenje drvene konstrukcije krova crkve u gradu Malmeu u Švedskoj.
Centralni deo krova čini kupola kao najviši deo krova, dok je niži deo krova formiran od
četiri poluobličasta svoda. S obzirom na zakrivljenu formu krova, projektom konstrukcije
je predviđeno lepljeno lamelirano drvo za elemente konstrukcije krova. Nosači su
izvedeni od lamela debljine 10 mm, što je uslovljeno malim radijusom zakrivljenja
lamela. Konstrukcija ja napravljena iz segmenata u proizvodnom pogonu u Beogradu, i
kao takva transportovana na gradilište. U sklopu rada je dato i nekoliko fotografija
nastalih u fazi sklapanja i montaže drvene konstrukcije.

Drvena konstrukcija krova vinarije u Topoli

AB  - U radu je prikazano rešenje konstrukcije jednovodnog krova, primenom drvenih rešetkastih nosača u Sistemu LKV. Osnovni oblik LKV elementa je nosač sa paralelnim pojasnim štapovima, obostrano prepušten, u cilju formiranja strehe na podužnim stranama objekta. Na bočnim stranama objekta streha je formirana izvođenjem konzolnih LKV nosača, oslonjenih na armirano‐betonski venac. Veza nosača na tom sektoru objekta je izvedena pomoću posebno oblikovanog metalnog okova. Projektom konstrukcije je definisan koncept i geometrija konstrukcije krova, kao i geometrija svih LKV nosača koji formiraju krovnu strukturu.

AB  - The aim of this paper is to present numerical investigations of dynamic characteristics and bending stiffness for cross laminated timber floor panels with and without service openings. Five-layer panels with the
outer layers oriented in the longitudinal direction of the panel have been analyzed. In order to explore the full
potential of this floor system using a limited number of measurements and structural tests, models based on the
finite element method have been proposed, validated against experimental results and then used to investigate the
effect of opening position in the floor on main structural performance parameters. The results showed that, when
the need for additional service opening appears, a slight decrease of the main structural characteristics of the
cross laminated timber floor panels is achievable with an adequate geometrical position of the opening in the floor

AB  - U radu su prikazani okvirni drveni rešetkasti nosači u sistemu LKV i njihova primena kod trovodnih krovova. Posebna pažnja je posvećena projektovanju bočnog sektora krova, u funkciji statičke visine nosača i veličine pripadajućeg opterećenja. Dati su osnovni principi funkcionalne organizacije karakterističnih sektora krova, što je od značaja za definisanje geometrije svih nosača koji formiraju drvenu strukturu. Unifikacija prefabrikovanih elemenata je od značaja za proizvodnju i ekonomičnost drvene strukture. U sklopu drvene strukture su takođe dati položaj i geometrija spregova za ukrućenje, kao sastavnih elemenata strukture krova.

Dynamic characteristics of CLT panels: Computer modelling and simulations

AB  - The fundamental vibration frequency and deflections due to the unit static force of
the cross-laminated timber panels of different heights and spans were calculated. The
calculation of the effective flexural rigidity was performed by the Gamma method. Obtained
values are compared with the values obtained by modeling the construction in the Ansys
software package. Three types of floor panels were analyzed with the same combinations of
layer thicknesses in the cross section, but with different number of layers. The panels are 4, 5
and 6 meters long and 1 meter wide. Based on the results, recommendations have been made in
accordance with current criteria that define the acceptable behavior of lightweight floor
structures in relation to vibrations caused by human action.

Proširenje postojećeg otvora u nosivom zidanom zidu

AB  - U radu je prikazano rešenje proširenja postojećeg otvora u nosivom zidanom zidu
između sobe i lođe, kako bi se nakon zatvaranja fasadne ravni lođe, dva prostora
objedinila u jedan i time dobila soba većih dimenzija. Rekonstrukcija je izvedena
pomoću čeličnih profila, koji su prihvatili opterećenje od tavanica i zidova gornjih etaža
i preneli ga na konstrukciju donjih etaža objekta. Rekonstrukcijom nije narušena
nosivost, upotrebljivost i stabilnost postojećih elemenata konstrukcije objekta.

AB  - U radu je prikazano rešenje konstrukcije četvorovodnog krova primenom drvenih
rešetkastih nosača u Sistemu LKV. Osnovni principi konstruisanja i oblikovanja
četvorovodnih krovova sa istim nagibima krovnih ravni, važe i za krovove sa različitim
nagibima krovnih ravni, uz određene modifikacije, što je u ovom slučaju i prikazano na
realizovanoj drvenoj krovnoj strukturi. Projektom konstrukcije je definisan koncept i

AB  - This paper presents results of the experimental determination of the load-bearing capacity
of structural timber connections realized by nail metal connector plates as a function of nail
location, length and diameter. Three different diameters of the nails have been used, specifically
2.0, 2.5, and 3.1 mm. The length of the metal nails in connectors has been determined after the
detailed analysis, and kept at 20 mm during the experimental research. Nails distribution over
the connector plate is such that it forms the series of equilateral triangles, so that a side of the
triangle equals five times the diameter of the nails used. Preceding the testing, and while using
the above listed parameters certain analysis has been done. In order to experimentally determine
the load-bearing capacity of the nail metal connectors, the penetration depth, i.e. the length of
the nails has been kept constant, while using three different nail diameters. The testing has been
done on multiple samples in the accordance with Eurocode 5.
AB  - U radu je prikazano eksperimentalno određivanje nosivosti veza ostvarenih ekserastim metalnim konekterima, u funkciji položaja, dužine i prečnika eksera. Ekserasti konekteri koji su podvrgnuti ispitivanju su napravljeni upotrebom eksera dužine 20 mm, prečnika 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm i 3.1 mm. Raspored eksera po površini metalne ploče konektera je takav da oni formiraju mrežu jednakostraničnih trouglova, gde je dužina stranice trougla jednaka petostrukoj vrednosti prečnika eksera. U skladu sa navedenim parametrima, urađene su određene analize koje su prethodile eksperimentalnom ispitivanju. Eksperimentom su utvrđene nosivosti ekserastog metalnog konektera, upotrebom tri različita prečnika eksera, ali iste dužine, odnosno iste dubine zabijanja eksera u drvo. Eksperiment je izveden na više uzoraka, u skladu sa Evrokodom 5.

AB  - The paper presents wooden trusses with parallel chords designed in the System
of lightweight roof girders - LKV system, and their application in the construction of
buildings. The basic static systems of these girders, their characteristics, as well as
numerous examples of constructed wooden structures are presented. In the structure of
the wooden constructions, these girders can play the role of bearing elements for receiving
gravity loading, as well as the role of lateral bracing frame.
AB  - U radu su prikazani nosači sa paralelnim pojasnim štapovima projektovani u Sistemu LKV, i njihova primena u konstrukcijama objekata visokogradnje. Prikazani su osnovni statički sistemi ovih nosača, njihove karakteristike, kao i brojni primeri izvedenih drvenih konstrukcija primenom ovih oblika nosača. U strukturi drvene konstrukcije, ovi nosači mogu imati ulogu nosivih elemenata za prijem gravitacionog opterećenja, kao i ulogu spregova protiv vetra i spregova za ukrućenje.

AB  - This paper deals with the results of experimental determination of load-bearing capacity of structural timber connections realized by nail metal connector plates, in the function of nail to steel plate connection rigidity. In the first group of test samples, the nails are embedded in pre-drilled holes in the steel plate. In the second group, the nails are embedded in pre-drilled holes and then the head of nail is welded to steel plate by its circumference. The main originality of the study is reflected in the achievement of rigidity of the connection of nails and the sleet plate, that is, in provision of rotation resistance, which leads to the plastic hinge formation at the surface of the steel plate, and thus to the increase of connection ductility. The study showed to what extent the degree of nail-to-plate connection rigidity affects the load-bearing capacity of structural timber member connections. Experimental testing was conducted in accordance with the provisions of Eurocode 5.

AB  - Activities related to buildings contribute to a large degree to environmental degradation. It is necessary to reduce the negative environmental impact and resource consumption throughout the life cycle of the building. The aim is to optimize building performances in accordance with the integrated design objectives. The building structure, along with other elements of architectural space, determines the performances of the building. The building structure should be designed and evaluated as a sub-system of the building, whose behaviour is directed towards the aim of system-building ecological quality. This paper deals with the analysis of structural design in accordance with integrated design objectives, which are derived from quantitative and qualitative indicators of ecological quality of building, within the criteria of environmental protection throughout the life cycle of the building. The overall objective is to reduce harmful emissions to the air, water and soil, as well as to increase the efficiency of resource use, that is, to reduce the intensity of their use. Based on subject analysis, the environmentally-based criteria for the design and evaluation of building structures are derived, in the function of creating the environmentally acceptable building solutions. The present analysis points to the necessity of applying a complex and systemic approach to structural design, in function of achieving the ecological quality of buildings.

abstract = "Activities related to buildings contribute to a large degree to environmental degradation. It is necessary to reduce the negative environmental impact and resource consumption throughout the life cycle of the building. The aim is to optimize building performances in accordance with the integrated design objectives. The building structure, along with other elements of architectural space, determines the performances of the building. The building structure should be designed and evaluated as a sub-system of the building, whose behaviour is directed towards the aim of system-building ecological quality. This paper deals with the analysis of structural design in accordance with integrated design objectives, which are derived from quantitative and qualitative indicators of ecological quality of building, within the criteria of environmental protection throughout the life cycle of the building. The overall objective is to reduce harmful emissions to the air, water and soil, as well as to increase the efficiency of resource use, that is, to reduce the intensity of their use. Based on subject analysis, the environmentally-based criteria for the design and evaluation of building structures are derived, in the function of creating the environmentally acceptable building solutions. The present analysis points to the necessity of applying a complex and systemic approach to structural design, in function of achieving the ecological quality of buildings.",

AB  - Raising the level of sustainability in construction refers to reduction of negative environmental
impact and resource consumption throughout the life cycle of built facilities, with a simultaneous
increase in life quality. Ferrocement is a material that is nowadays increasingly used
worldwide precisely because of the possibility to meet the numerous requirements which concern
the ecological quality of buildings. Having in mind functional and design possibilitieswhich
ferrocement offers as a constructive material, it is used for making of a wide range of structural
elements, as well as for the strengthening of the existing structures. In addition to the above,
ferrocement finds its application within the composite building structures. This paper analyzes
the forms of application of ferrocement within composite building structures, as well as the
benefits of its application in such systems in the context of sustainability. The analyzed systems
are based on the composite action of ferrocement and conventional reinforced concrete, the
composite action of ferrocement and steel load bearing elements, as well as on the composite
action of ferrocement, steel load bearing elements and conventional reinforced concrete. The
present analysis pointed to the key sustainability benefits of ferrocement application in composite
building structures, as well as to the need for further research on possible use forms of this
material within such systems, in function of raising the sustainability of the built environment.

AB  - This paper summarizes current regulations for comfort assessment of structural vibrations of timber floors in Europe and main design practices of timber floors on this aspect among the European countries. For building design, human activities are the most important internal sources of vibration in timber floors. The daily human activities such as walking, jumping or running on the floor may lead to an uncomfortable feeling to the users when magnitudes of the vibration are uncontrolled. Comparisons of vibration serviceability criteria for design of timber floors among the European countries were conducted and the recommendations on vibration serviceability design of timber floors are proposed.

AB  - This paper demonstrates the results of experimental determination of load-bearing capacity of structural timber member connections realized by nail metal connector plates which represent a new type of mechanical fasteners in load-bearing timber structures. The application of this type of metal connector should eliminate weakness of the standard metal connector plates produced by sheet perforating and pulling the teeth perpendicular to a sheet plane. The aim of the conducted experimental study was to determine the load-bearing capacity of connections realized by nail metal connector plates, in accordance with the provisions of Eurocode 5. Experimental testing was conducted by loading of multiple samples up to the limit bearing capacity of connection realized by nail metal connector plate. Discussion of the test results included the analysis of the limit bearing capacity of connection for different values of connection displacements, comparison of the obtained results with characteristic load-bearing capacity of standard type of metal connectors and with load-bearing capacity of nails calculated in accordance with limit state theory. Review of the determined limit bearing capacities of realized connections was given in the conclusion, together with the comment on test results, for the purpose of improving the application of metal connectors in modern systems of timber structures.

AB  - This paper demonstrates the results of experimental determination of load bearing capacity of structural timber member connections realized by WOLF
and LKVC metal connector plates. Considering the complexity of the connections realized by these modern mechanical fasteners, this paper deals only
with plate anchorage capacity (stress in the metal-wood contact). The aim of the conducted experimental study was to determine the metal connector plate
anchorage capacity in accordance with the provisions of Eurocode 5 and also to analyse the ratio of the load bearing capacities of these two types of
connectors in terms of their geometry. Experimental testing was conducted by loading of multiple samples up to the limit plate anchorage capacity.
Discussion of the test results included the analysis of the connection deformation for different levels of load, as well as the mode of reaching the limit
plate anchorage capacity. Review of the determined limit plate anchorage capacities, for the determined displacements of connection, was given in the
conclusion, together with the comment on test results.
AB  - U radu je prikazano eksperimentalno određivanje nosivosti veza ostvarenih metalnim konekterima tipa WOLF i LKVC. S obzirom na kompleksnost veza ostvarenih ovim savremenim mehaničkim spojnim sredstvima, predmet rada obuhvata samo nosivost bočne veze (naprezanje u spoju metal-drvo). Cilj sprovedenih eksperimentalnih ispitivanja je bio da se utvrdi nosivost bočne veze ostvarene metalnim konekterima, u skladu sa odredbama Evrokoda 5 i da se paralelno sa tim analizira odnos nosivosti ova dva tipa konektera, sa aspekta njihove geometrije. Eksperimentalno ispitivanje je sprovedeno na više uzoraka, opterećivanjem uzoraka do dostizanja granične nosivosti bočne veze. Diskusija rezultata ispitivanja je obuhvatila analizu pomerljivosti veza za različite nivoe opterećenja, kao i način dostizanja granične nosivosti bočne veze. AB  - This paper presents the technical solution for repair of elements of classical wooden
roof structure. Due to the age of structure, action of long-term load, failure of
connections, etc. originally designed and realized system was compromised. This
resulted in the visible deformations of roof structure elements, which jeopardized the
load-bearing capacity, stability and usability of structure. Repair was carried out by steel
trusses, placed right next to the existing wooden structural elements, which allowed
adequate acceptance and transfer of load, and thus prevented further deformations of the
elements of roof structure.

Diskusija rezultata ispitivanja je obuhvatila analizu pomerljivosti veza za različite nivoe opterećenja, kao i način dostizanja granične nosivosti bočne veze. U zaključku je dat komentar o utvrđenim graničnim nosivostima bočne veze, za određena pomeranja veze, i zauzet je stav po pitanju dobijenih rezultata.",

AB  - This paper demonstrates the results of experimental determination of load-bearing capacity of structural timber member glued finger-joint connection and analyses the possibility of application of this type of connection in timber trusses. Loadbearing capacity of connections, formed in this way, is determined on the multiple samples of timber members, with different dimensions of crosssection, loaded up to the ultimate limit state. The recommendations for further research in the subject area are given after the discussion of the test results.
AB  - U radu je prikazano eksperimentalno određivanje nosivosti nastavaka drvenih štapova formiranih lepljenjem, primenom zupčastog spoja, i mogućnost primene istih kod drvenih rešetkastih nosača. Nosivost tako formiranih nastavaka je utvrđena na više uzoraka drvenih štapova, različitih dimenzija poprečnog preseka, opterećivanjem uzoraka do dostizanja granične nosivosti, nakon čega su uz diskusiju rezultata ispitivanja, izvučeni određeni zaključci i date smernice za nastavak istraživanja u predmetnoj oblasti.
