Простори мира - Рекреација као метод програмске трансформације војне инфраструктуре

Abstract

Периодом транзиције, поједини простори војне инфраструктуре социјализма бивају део процеса конверзије у цивилне сврхе или трајно напуштени, стварајући празне прос торе унутар и изван градских средина. У овом раду биће анализирани војни аеродроми и атомска склоништа, као просто ри чија је првобитна функција изгубљена променом идеологије. Главни фокус биће на студији случаја спонтане трансформације аеродрома у Ковину и атомских склоништа на Новом Београду, као два типа војне инфраструктуре различитог степена отворености за цивиле. У циљу разумевања потенцијалних модела њихове трансформације у мирнодоп ским условима, рад ће се бавити анализом карактера и просторних квалитета ових зона за унапређење живота локалне заједнице, кроз истраживање рекреације, као главног просторног критеријума. Рекреација, као широка и отворена област у савременој тео рији, у раду је препозната као носилац додатних вредности и квалитета који карактери шу савремени живот грађана.

The period of socialism was marked as a period of intensive planning, development, and construction of military infrastructure, reflecting the ideological and geopolitical situation in the country. With the ideologi cal change and the period of transition, as well as a series of laws and documents, the army loses its original political and economic power. Some areas of military infrastructure became part of the conversion process for civilian purposes or permanently abandoned, creating empty spaces inside and outside the city environments. In this paper analysis military airports and atomic shelters as spaces whose original function is lost with the change of ideology. The main focus will be on a case study of the spontaneous transformation of the airport in Kovin and atomic shelters in New Belgrade, as two types of military infrastructure of vary ing degrees of openness for civilians. In order to understand the potential models of their transformation in peacetime conditions, the paper will analyze the character and spatial quality of these zones for the improve ment of the life of the local community, through an exploration of recreation as the main spatial criterion. Recreation, as an open field in contemporary theory, is recognized as an initiator of additional values and quality that characterize the contemporary life of citizens. By the method of comparative analysis and research through the project, the paper offers an interpre tation of the development of leisure time culture in the post-socialist period, problematizing the importance of abandoned space of military infrastructure as a potential for the development of the city. Through a broad theoretical analysis, the socio-cultural aspects of abandoned spaces will be explored, with the aim of under standing the architectural methods and models for their conversion.
