dc.description.abstractThe paper discusses the principles of preserving the authenticity of monuments and their monumental values, through Brandi 's Theory of Restoration. In addition, the paper deals with the interpretation of the guidelines given in the Document of Authenticity of Nara, 1994, which represents a significant theoretical basis for all studies related to the protection and revitalization of cultural heritage.en
