dc.description.abstract	The paper presents reasons for an advanced city street lighting map, which, for each city road, street and pedestrian path, contains the information on lighting classes valid during various night periods with their duration, as well as on the recommended lamp type. This data is based on the required performance, energy efficiency and economics of the street lighting solution. The procedure for developing a city street lighting map, divided into three steps, as well as the description of the map graphics, are also given.	en
